Status Update

Hello friends, I am happy to announce that I have completed the first draft of my manuscript! Yay!

It has been a long year and seven months but I finally did it!

My original goal was 60,000 words spread all through 20 chapters but in the end I maxed out at 97,300 words in 25 chapters. How awesome is that?

Truth be told, this isn’t technically my first draft since I have edited each chapter numerous times along the way. But I am happy to say but the story is finally complete. Now comes the actual editing phase of the manuscript as a whole. If you are curious, I am using the Grammarly extension for Microsoft word. I’m using the free one to go through it a few times while I consider the premium service. Now, many of you that know me on a personal level know that I am 100% against subscriptions. I wont go into detail here as to why.

But in this unique scenario, I might consider using the premium ONLY if I can find someone that has used it and can vouch for its effectiveness. I’m not against paying for a service but I'm not interested in paying continually when I'm certain that i wont be using it every single day, every single month.

i’m not very good at this blog and stuff but I’m going to try keep you updated from here on out.

Thanks friends, stay blessed!

I know, it's been a while since I was here. I apologize for my absence. So much has been going on in my life. I don't want to air my laundry here, but know that it was serious enough to slow my stride
