Who am I?

I am John Lazarus and I am an artist and aspiring fantasy novelist.

The late 80s and 90s was the best time to be a kid as it was the prime era for art and entertainment (music, art, anime, cartoons, comics, etc.) Nothing beats old school comics and 90’s cartoons!

With a childhood imagination fueled by fantasy and iconic heroes, I had become a huge fan of all things super-natural, super-powered, and super sci-fi.

​

Most, if not all, of my art reflects such interests.

​

I really enjoy world building and character design. I even went as far as creating spoken and written languages, sports, cultures, planets, maps... the whole nine.

I have one book published. It was actually a private journal of poetry that I had written in my youth. I've been sitting on these old notebooks for so many years, it just didn't feel right throwing them away. So, I figured if I am going to keep them, I might as well publish them.
