Music is another way I give words, stories, and faith a voice. As J. L. Oryin, I transform poetry from Journal of a Breaking Heart and A Reflection of Heart and Soul into song, while also creating video-game-inspired music and original soundtracks for my fictional worlds.

 

Await the King is my Christian metal project, setting Scripture and biblical truth to the heavy music I love—all for the glory of God. Though each project has its own purpose and sound, both flow from the same creative heart.
