Await the King is a Christian Metal/Rock eBand—a Christ-first digital music project bringing together musicians and songwriters through remote collaboration and AI-assisted production.

Full disclosure: I write a significant portion of the music and all of the lyrics, but I’m not the one singing. I use AI to give those lyrics a voice, and to help with mastering the tracks. I understand that there are artists out there that turn their noses up at AI in music, but it has its place. Here, it’s simply another tool used to bring the music to life and, above all, glorify our King.

Our mission is simple: to glorify Christ, share Scripture, and proclaim the Gospel through one of the genres we love most.

Metal is often associated with darkness and evil because of its aggressive sound and imagery. We want to challenge that perception. Crushing guitars, pounding drums, and raw intensity can carry a message of faith, hope, redemption, and the victory of Christ.

We aren't here to make metal less heavy.

​

We're here to give that heaviness a different purpose.
